All our roses are delivered with its protective guard petals still intact. These petals are the outer layer petals on your rose that usually looks a little bit damaged and are smaller than the rest of the petals. We leave them on the flower as they are rougher and thicker than the other petals and help protect the rose in transportation.
Removing guard petals
Carefully peel away the protective guard petals without damaging the inner rose petals. Let the inner layer of fresh and beautiful rose petals reveal themselves.
Patience is key
Be patient and allow the rose a couple of days to fully bloom. The protective petals keeps the rose tight and it can take a while before it blooms fully.
